Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Joshua Coker, the owner, founder and Maker at 677 Fabrications & metal art. I am reluctant to call myself an “artist”. I have never studied art at any level above GCSE’s and i believe that label is given by others, not yourself.

Anyway, a little bit of background about me would be that i have worked with metal since leaving school at 16, and in the last 10 years my interest in this has grown to a passion of creating weird and wonderful creations using this fascinating material.

With that being said, around 8 years ago i started to experiment on not just making straight and level industrial fabrications that i do day in day out in my full time job. i began to bend, fold, twist and join metal like i had never done before, and with this a flame inside grew. starting with small little flowers for my close family this has now evolved into the pieces i create today.

So this brings me back to this website, with the hopeful opportunity to share my work, have a permanent place to list some of my pieces for people to enjoy and see when i am not displaying at shows or events.
